Trade Terms & Conditions

Prices
All prices are correct as at the time of publishing and exclude VAT at the current rate. Any price changes will be published on the website which will show current prices at any given time. We will endeavour to inform customers of price changes at the time of ordering, however ultimately it is the responsibility of the customer to check prices on the website.

Carriage Paid
All orders in excess of £75 (excluding VAT) will be sent carriage paid within UK Mainland (see excluded postcodes below). This only applies to orders currently in stock and sent in one posting.

Carriage Costs
Non-Carriage paid orders will be charged at £6.50 per parcel (max 30kg per parcel). VAT will be charged on all carriage costs when any vatable item is included.

Ordering & Payment for Goods
Orders maybe placed via phone or email. Payment may be made via cheque (payable to Westgate Supplies Ltd), credit/debit card or via bank transfer. Initial orders must be paid in full prior to dispatch. A credit application form will then be sent with this order should credit wish to be applied for future orders.

Delivery
Deliveries will require a signature on receipt. If you may not be available to take receipt, please supply an alternative address for delivery. You may be charged extra if the courier is required to attempt a 2nd or subsequent delivey.

Postcode Exclusions
Alternative carriage terms to those stated above will apply to the following postcodes: BT, IM, TR21-TR25, HS, IV, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA49, PA60-PA78, PH17-PH26, PH30-PH44, PH49-PH50, ZE, JE, GY. Where these apply, please contact us for details.

VAT
All prices quoted are excluding VAT. Items exempt of VAT will be marked with an *. For all other goods, VAT will be charged at the current standard rate.

Credit Accounts
Credit accounts may be offered on receipt of two satisfactory trade references. Credit facilities may be withdrawn at any time and are offered at our discretion.

Settlement Terms
Payment of credit accounts will be due 30 days from the invoice date. Invoices will be compiled on the last day of each month. Goods remain the property of Westgate Supplies Ltd until payment is received. Any overdue accounts will be subject to a 2% surcharge per month.

Goods 'Out of Stock'
Any items out of stock at the time of ordering will be sent with the next order placed after coming back into stock. If you require items sending immediately after they come back into stock, please state this at the time of ordering. These items will then be treated as a separate order and be subject to normal carriage charges as stated above.

Returns
Goods are not supplied on sale or return. We must be informed of any items damaged in transit with 48hrs of receipt. Please do not return damaged goods to us before we advise to do so. Please keep all outer packaging as we may require this for future inspection. Please note that unless items are wrongly described or faulty, refunds will not include any return postage costs. Payment will be refunded as a credit to your account. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.
